Fred B. Dumont currently serves as the Department Director for Community & Economic Development in Hamilton Township.
Mr. Dumont is a retired Business Manager of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers Local #89. In addition, Dumont previously served as the Vice-President of the New Jersey State Building and Construction Trades Council, as the Financial Secretary for the New Jersey Mechanical Allied Craft Council, as the Secretary for the Mercer/Burlington Trades Council, the Treasurer of the Monmouth/Ocean Building Trades, a Trustee with the Asbestos Workers Philadelphia Pension and Welfare Board, and as a member of the Mercer County Workforce Investment Board.
He was appointed to the NJEDA by Governor Murphy in 2017. He is a Member of the NJEDA’s Director’s Loan Review Committee and a Member of the Real Estate Committee.
Mr. Dumont is a graduate of Saint Anthony’s High School in Hamilton, New Jersey. After attending Trenton State College, he joined the Local #89 Apprenticeship School.
